Initio Parfums Private's 'Carnal Blends' collection is inspired by the science of how certain fragrances can activate sexual and physical attraction with us. The sweet-floral fragrance High Frequency is one of three in this collection based on hedione (methyl dihydro jasmonate) - a flower-scented chemical blend of atoms found in the heart of jasmine and magnolia. Hedione can highlight other fragrance notes and make them lighter and more active, but the note is best known for triggering the part of the woman's brain that produces pleasure hormones. In addition to hedione, High Frequency contains only two other notes: magnolia and almond. In other words, this is a velvet-like counterpart to Psychadelic Love from the same series, without the latter's more complex elements of myrrh, rose, and woody notes.
