Sultan al-Amimi is a critic, poet, researcher and storyteller from the United Arab Emirates born in 1974. He is currently director of the Arab Poetry Academy of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, the first specialized academy of its kind in the Arab world. One of the most important members of the jury of the Poet of the Million Competition for Nabataean Poetry since its first season in 2006-2007, and continued to be a member of its jury from the first season to the seventh. This is the largest and most important nabataean poetry competition in the Arab world. Editor-in-chief of The Poet of the Million magazine, which is published in the Poet of the Million competition.
